The MRC Resource Kit

This is the MRC-GIZ Watershed Management Resource Kit (RK) wiki with at present 320 Articles and 57 users.

It is accessible to be read by everyone. Editing will remain restricted to a group of specialists in the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB) and beyond. It is meant to be a living document and continuously updated by its friends.

The hard copy cover page

The wiki is hosted at MRCS. The MRC Human Resource Capacity Building Programme ICBP manages the network of regional Training institutions and will be the hub for the wiki's maintenance. The international group of specialists is presently moderated by: Andrew Noble (IWMI)

The Table of Contents can still be used for navigation but is being replaced by categories (see below) and will not be maintained any longer.

Using the RK for Trainings:

For the purpose of trainings we have included new categories under the new top category Training.

The Watershed Management Training follows a seven step approach. They are explained in a pocket booklet which can be downloaded from here: The seven steps of Watershed Management A training manual is being prepared based on the Manual for Practitioners.

For making Training Handouts you could either print a whole page as PDF by using either 'Download as PDF' under the 'Print/export' section in the navigation pane at left or using your system's print function if you have a pdf printer installed (like pdf creator). However, if you only want selected parts of a page it may be easier to directly copy and paste from the wiki page to your word processor.
